Digging Deep: More Than You Can Imagine

“6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and …

Digging Deep: It Matters Where You Dig

Shaded by tall trees on both banks, it was never warm. Even in the stickiness of a hot and humid southern Indiana summer day, the initial chill of the water always seemed to take me by surprise. The creek. Good for skipping rocks, finding minnows, …

Digging Deep: Discover What’s Underneath

The lowest branch was always just out of reach as I stood on the ground. But, with just a little effort, thanks to my gymnastics, I hoisted myself up into the tree and quickly climbed to the top. It was one of my favorite spots–the …

Waiting for a New Thing…Wrestling with Depression From a Place of Freedom

Meet Leah

Hi! My name is Leah Lynch and I am grateful that God has blessed me with the opportunity to share His love and goodness and to share my story. It’s a story that has been marked by joy and pain, triumph and defeat, mountain tops and valleys, slavery to fear and victory in Jesus. It’s the story God is writing and it’s my prayer that through it others are encouraged.

First and foremost, I am a loved and cherished child of God, a daughter of the King. I’m married to my best friend and through the gift of adoption, I’m a Momma to my favorite 8-year-old and 7-year-old. Our home is full of baseball games, baby dolls, gymnastics, Legos, Star Wars, and all things art.

I am a writer who loves to encourage through written word. I have a heart for my family, for studying Scripture, for serving others, for helping people find hope, for writing, and for adoption. In addition to writing, I enjoy dark chocolate, Baskin Robbins chocolate chip ice cream, the beach, the Arizona desert, a good DIY project, homeschooling my kids, being in the kitchen, cooking, baking, decorating cakes, reading, sewing, painting, and most anything crafty!
